Gift Aid

We would be very grateful if you would consider making a Gift Aid declaration when you visit. It is at no extra cost to yourself and takes seconds to tick the box.

Gift Aid is a government scheme, which enables charities to reclaim the basic rate tax you have paid as a UK taxpayer, this is an extra 25p for every £1 of the total paid.

This extra income is very important to small independent museums like ourselves and helps ensure that we can continue to keep Yorkshire’s farming history and heritage alive for future generations. For more information on Gift Aid and admissions to the museum please click here to view a guide produced by Visit England.

**The right to free admission is when open to the general visitors. This excludes Christmas Events. We also reserve the right to exclude or add additional charges for certain special events.

Unlimited rides on the DVLR are only when passenger trains are run during standard opening hours and not special events.
